Q-secure Guarantee Explained
We are proud to offer one of the most comprehensive, unique hardware warranties on the market today. The Q-secure guarantee covers our exclusive greenteQ hardware and furniture. Not only this, but it is a flexible, MULTI-BRAND warranty whereby we work with our renowned hardware partners. This includes manufacturers Yale, AGB and Roto, whose tested hardware is covered as part of the scheme.
What Does It Cover?
We are incredibly confident with the performance of our hardware. However, if a break-in is cause by a fault in the hardware once installed by one of our approved installers, we will pay homeowners. The warranty covers windows, residential doors and lifestyle doors. The latter includes bi-fold, lift/slide and inline sliding doors.
How Much Could You Be Entitled?
Depending on the hardware specifications that the manufacturers uses, you can opt for two different levels of the Q-secure guarantee. These are PREMIUM and Standard. In the unlikely event that your home is broken into as a result of faulty hardware, we will pay out as compensation. The Standard option could pay you a huge £5000 as part of the guarantee. However, Q-secure PREMIUM could pay you up to £8000, an incredible 60% more than Standard!
The Payments
Locksmiths
We will pay you up to £1750 with Q-secure PREMIUM or up to £1000 with Q-secure Standard in the immediate aftermath of the break-in. This will cover the cost of employing an emergency locksmith, glazier or boarding company who will secure the property.
Replacements
You could receive up to £3000 with Q-secure PREMIUM or up to £15000 with the Standard option for replacements or repairs. This includes either the door or window that needs fixing. This repair should be arranged through one of our approved installers.
Insurance
Towards the homeowner’s insurance excess payment, we will pay up to £2000 with PREMIUM or up to £1500 with Standard. After receiving the relevant paperwork, we will ensure you get this money quickly.
Goodwill
As a goodwill payment, we will pay £1250 with Q-secure PREMIUM or £1000 with Q-secure Standard to the homeowner. This is to try and prevent any stress that is caused by the break-in
