greenteQ 3 Star Cylinder – Orion
We are proud to offer a brand new profile cylinder, the Orion from greenteQ. This is the latest TS007 Kitemark approved profile cylinder available from VBH. , offering full 3-star protection. The premium quality product features effective protection against bumping, picking and drilling, as well as the snap and extract method. Orion is available in bright nickel and brass finishes, in key/key and thumb-turn variants, and also in keyed alike pairs.
The external side features a sacrificial breakpoint to hamper attempts to gain entry by snapping and extracting the cylinder. Once this has broken away, the interlocking mechanism engages to prevent further damage to the cylinder. This achieves the security function, and the safety of those inside the building is assured as the interlock can be over-ridden by turning the key through 360°.
greenteQ 1 Star Cylinder
VBH supply the greenteQ Q-Star profile cylinder to manufacturers and locksmiths around the country. One of our most popular products, it is compatible with residential doors, bi-fold doors, lift/slide doors, sliding patio doors and slide & fold doors. Q-Star has been tested to TS007 and achieves a 1-star rating. They are available in key/key double cylinder, thumb turn and keyed alike options, in nickel or brass finish. Each key is stamped with the greenteQ Q-logo as a sign of quality
Unlike some security cylinders, both sides of Q-Star include all the security features, which means that a fabricator needs to stock just one product, regardless of whether the cylinder is being fitted to an inward or outward opening door. Both sides feature a sacrificial break point to hamper attempts to gain entry by snapping the cylinder. The key will still operate the cylinder after snapping at these points.
Yale 3 Star Cylinder
As part of our MULTIBRAND guarantee, we cover Yale’s Platinum 3-Star cylinder. An industry leading profile cylinder, it can be used on residential doors, bi-fold doors, lift/slide doors, sliding patio doors and slide & fold doors. Platinum has been tested to TS007 and achieves a full 3 star rating. The barrels are available in key/key double cylinder, half cylinder, thumb turn and keyed alike options, in nickel or brass finish. Each Platinum cylinder is supplied with 3 dimple cut keys with striking Yale branding on the black fob, and a key identification card to make buying additional keys not just easy, but secure.
