The greenteQ Clearline CentreFold handle has been developed for use on aluminium bi-fold doors fitted with greenteQ Clearspan locks at the intermediate locking points. The clever design of the handle allows the lever to fold down vertically when not in use and locate within a recess in the backplate. When opening the door, the user simply pushes the lever in at the top to allow movement from the vertical closed position through 180° to operate the intermediate lock.
CentreFold is key lockable as standard. When the door is open, the user has a choice of what to do with the key. It can either be clipped onto the peg in the discreet key storage area within the backplate recess or, if preferred, it can be left in the handle’s cylinder. The bow of the key is hinged so it can be folded through 90° to prevent damage and to allow the sashes to stack closer together. Neat stacking is further aided by the fact that the handle projects only 15mm from the face of the profile.
CentreFold is designed to work with a Clearspan Intermediate door lock on AluK and Smarts aluminium bi-fold doors. It has 43mm fixing centres, and the fixings are concealed when the lever is in the closed position. CentreFold is available in 5 colours of the greenteQ Suite.
We offer 3 intermediate handle designs for bi-fold doors. SlimFold is available with or without a cylinder hole, CentreFold is key locking, but our most popular is Aspire, with its stainless steel lever in 9 colours of the greenteQ Suite.
