We are proud to announce a brand new sleek product to our hardware range. Q-Smart incorporates Blusafe technology that offers 3 simple ways to operate the unit; fingerprint recognition, phone app and proximity reader (IC card). Because there is no keypad, Q-Smart is around the size of a standard handle set. It is available in attractive black or polished chrome, both modern and sophisticated. Each unit is supplied with a key ring proximity fob which can be used to activate the unit. Alternatively, the user can download the secure Blusafe app to their smartphone to use the phone as a ‘mobile key’. The app has the added benefit of keeping a log of operations, thus providing visitor management records. Additionally, a large fingerprint reading panel is concealed under a hinged cover on the external backplate for fingerprint recognition.
Q-Smart is fully tested at BSI and certified to ETSI TS103 645. It is built to last and has a projected operation span in excess of 1 million open/close cycles.
Q-Smart does not need to be connected to the mains electricity supply, it is simply powered by batteries. The handle will give plenty of warning when they start to run low.

You can guarantee the locks on bifold doors through our Q-secure warranty. Q-secure will cover a complete door if it uses Q-secure tested and approved hardware. This enables the user to guarantee their door if a break-in occurs as a result of a failing lock.
