greenteQ Clearslide inline sliding door locks and striker plates are manufactured from hard wearing stainless steel and are guaranteed for 10 years. Locking is achieved through the 4 pairs of bi-directional hooks. The top hooks slide upwards into the lock, and the lower hooks lock downwards. Each pair of hooks are closely positioned to achieve an extremely strong and durable locking point. The security of the Inline Sliding Door Lock is further enhanced by 2 anti-lift pins that protrude from the faceplate and slide into each hole within the striker plate. Our Clearslide locks have been tested to achieve PAS24 at BSI and are included within VBH's BSI 'Hardware' Kitemark (KM727991).
The gearbox has standard 92mm centres and is operated by standard patio handles such as the greenteQ Alpha and stainless steel Coastline Patio Pull Handles. The operating lever on each of these handles is sufficiently long to provide enough leverage to operate the door easily, even with the 8 separate hook locking points.
The mis-operation device ensures that the hooks can only travel when the door is fully closed. This prevents any damage caused by trying to close the door if the hooks have been inadvertently put into the locked position while the door is open. Clearslide striker plates are profile related and are of one-piece construction, ensuring quick fabrication.
