The Clearspan Intermediate lock provides secure and smooth closing of Smart's Visofold 1000 aluminium bi-fold doors. The 8mm diameter steel threaded rod with 24mm throw keeps would-be intruders out whilst the pre-installed tapered shootbolt ends ensure a smooth closing action for the user and provide effective weather sealing. The robust gearbox has a 7mm square spindle with standard 43mm fixing centres. The lockcase can be deadlocked via a Euro profile cylinder for greater security.
Fabricators can opt to fit either a standard non-locking Slimfold or Aspire handle, or a key lockable Centrefold handle. Alternatively they can opt for the internal or internal/external versions of Slimfold, whose profile cylinder hole takes advantage of the deadlock function and/or provides external access. When installed, the lockcase is covered by an attractive black cover with subtle Clearspan and greenteQ Q branding.
Clearspan Intermediate lock can be ordered as individual parts or in multiples of 5 or 25. If ordering the ‘5’ version the lock is delivered in 5 individually packed kits that include a gearbox and cover, 2 rods and 2 end guides. If ordering the ‘25’ option the items are delivered in bulk packaging, i.e. not in individual kits.
